It's still around, people seem even more panicked than ever. My parents just got the shot, which I think was silly, but what can ya do?
My reasoning... By leaving the house and driving to some public place, you risk the following:
- Death by auto accident - 40k/yr
- Death by murder - 16k/yr
- Death by some other sickness you could pick up from someone else - 50k/yr
So you're putting yourself at risk of being 1 of those 106k deaths per year just to be vaccinated from being 1 of 2k deaths H1N1 is on pace to cause.
I'll stay inside, save my time, save my money, save my gas, and be safer in the scheme of things.
Besides, I really wouldn't want to end up like this. Honestly, give me death.

| From my googling, "faked" seems to be a bit strong a word choice. Her doctor and the symptoms led her to believe she had it. I dunno, if my doctor says I have cancer, I usually think I have cancer, ya know? Regardless, something was wrong with her, and it was likely caused by the vaccine... That's great that it doesn't appear to be permanent. |
