It’s been just over a year since I announced my Reboot in which I decided to take my development skills to “the next level.” Since then I landed a new gig, have reached near expert level proficiency in iOS automation, and have kept going with the full stack course, but have really focused on being great at what I’m a paid to do (a somewhat unique skill) versus exploring a somewhat commoditized new thing.

I do still work on the full stack course once a week and have now completed 216 of 452 lessons. Almost halfway! The progress is slow, steady, and manageable. Most recently I made a game of Simon!

I don’t anticipate ever wanting to become a full-stack web dev, but learning is fun. Perhaps this time next year I’ll be tackling my next course? I have a Python automation class queued up.
