We all made it and Mia’s grandparents were able to visit and meet her for the first time. What a blast!

New this month is standing all the time, getting super chatty and interactive, eating corn on the cob (Mom’s favorite), a little bit more napping on us (Dad’s favorite), and my Dad says he saw her take her first steps, but nobody else did, that was a week ago with no more signs of her even being close to that milestone so grain of ? on that.

Mia also graduated to a new classroom where she seems to be flourishing with new stimuli and bigger kids. She’s only one of two not walking so we’re hopeful she’ll get the urge for it sooner rather than later. Most importantly to us (and her, I suppose) is she’s now able to go outside during the day! Perfect timing because I think the rain is behind us.

For her birthday week we had a private tour of a farm, Rebecca made her an amazing no-sugar cake, and she received far too many gifts.

An extra special thank you to our Daruma for a healthy baby.

This wraps up the monthly posts. Moving to quarterly now.
