Added Some Art
I know, I haven’t posted my weekly updates in two weeks. I’ll hopefully post one tonight, which contains a ton of links. Anyway, the point of this post is to share the two latest additions to my art collection: War and Peace, by Sam Flores, which I wanted to pick up in Philly. And a recent discovery, The Last Supper by Misha. Ms. Caitlin…

Movie: Zardoz
After a friend posted a picture of Sean Connery in a scantilly clad outfit, but not in his prime “looking” days, I had to check this one out. While it never won any awards, and rightfully so, it wasn’t nearly as bad as IMDB’s rating would leave you to believe. TONS of unnecessary boob-shots, violence out the wazoo, and just in general out in…

Movie: Snakes on a Plane
I know, I know, I should have seen it in the theaters. Regardless, it was one of those classically entertaining films that only comes around every few years. Samuel L. While it didn’t quite live up to the very, very lofty expectations I had for it, it was still a fine movie. Quality drama and acting, and an always lovable “F the man” plotline. 8.0/10 – This one is a must-rent.

Hurray for Customer Service (Week of 02/24/08)
What a week. Started off on Monday with a Howie Day concert, which went pretty well. Tuesday, I find out three weeks after ordering, that the headlights I purchased for the Civic have been discontinued. Thursday, the company that I ordered my new Civic battery from finally received their supply (two weeks after ordering), and the price has gone up. I’m sorry, but I…

I Hate New Cars (Week of 02/17/08)
A former coworker scheduled a brake pad change with me this weekend. The vehicle? A newish Acura RSX-S. I figured it would be done in under an hour; I know Hondas. Hell, I can change all four pads on the Civic in probably 30 minutes. Unfortunately, with technology, goes simplicity (when we’re talking about cars). To do the rears, I had to unbolt both…
