Tonight it comes to an end. Yet another season down, yet more dreams made. I finally got a chance to watch the finale (without cable at home right now) and firmly believe Crystal should win based on last night’s performance, but I don’t care either way as this season really wasn’t that impressive and I didn’t get attached to anybody.

In seasons past, the judges always comment on how “this is the best season yet [dawg]” (usually Randy says it), but they didn’t this time around… Let’s face it, any of the top four from last season (Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, and Allison Iraheta) would have put this season’s contestants to shame. It was clear even at the beginning; you didn’t have any big powerhouses, and you had lots of awkward people. Shoot, until the top three, you still had people who couldn’t even sing well!

This season brought Ellen to the show. She did well, but I really do miss the dynamic Paula brought; you need an airhead up there. I’m not big on Kara, Randy is a ‘tard, and Simon is leaving (sorry for that link… I like Rickey.org so much that I was able to put up with a picture of Perez Hilton)… Season 10 is certainly not too promising from the get-go. Maybe they can get Gordon Ramsay to replace him?
