Jess, last update of the year!

Big Money League: Dominated the entire season despite starting 4-3 (bad matchups). Won the regular season with a 10-3 record. Did I mention I was dominant all season? I was. Ended with 10% more points than 2nd place. Got a buy through the first round of the playoffs, started off abysmally with two points from five players in the first half of the early games on Sunday, had a heck of a comeback, he faltered, and it came down to me needing five points from Adrian Peterson (usually gets 20+). He ended up not playing. Season over. Luckily, winning the regular season gets me a few bucks, and our entry fee is on the line for 3rd place. Still, crushing. We made the league a keeper league this year. I’m torn between taking Arian Foster in the 4th round or Michael Vick in the 5th. We originally voted to keep two players, but I can see that not happening as that’d leave me pretty strong with those two.

Work League: Was never quite happy with this one, but my team was pretty consistent. Also started this one 4-3, but closed out at 7-6. In the first two weeks of the playoffs, I scored the 2nd most points of any team, but as luck would have it, both times I played the team who scored the most. Season over. Good riddance. This one was painful.

Two leagues, two playoffs, I certainly won my money back, but also faltered big time in the playoffs. Oh well, there’s always next year and more suckers to take money from 😉
