What a night, and I didn’t even get very drunk!

It all started off in Vienna with a meal at Tequila Grande with my two favorite girls, Jessica and Stephanie. We had some drinks, stuffed our faces, and then went to a friend’s place a few blocks away.

We get there, he cleans up a bit and we get to drinking. We play some goofy games and then head to and board the metro, which is just down the block.

We then get to DC, meet up with Jessica’s other group of friends, have some drinks, chat, some of my friends show up, and then before we know it it’s time to catch the last train home. This is when it gets fun.

Historically, I have never been to Adams Morgan without getting a jumbo slice of pizza (think: half a pizza, $3). We’re a bit late for the metro so Jessica makes me forego this ritual… Way sad. But that isn’t important… We come across a large gathering of people on the sidewalk and street. We’re pushing our way through when we catch a glimpse of why everyone is gathered around. Apparently there had been a fight to which the cops showed up at. Rather than continue fighting eachother, the participants begin fighting the police officer! I never thought I’d see people pick bikes over their heads and hurl them at a group of police officers. Unfortunately, we don’t have time to watch the aftermath as Jessica whisks me away… We’re on a mission, and that is to get home. Walking, walking… Some group of hispanic or middle east guys (sorry, I couldn’t tell) all slam in to Jessica as we’re awalking down the street. Not just a bump, but like when two people are walking in one space and one would have to move a little to not hit shoulders? Well they deliberately slammed in to her. I got angry, pushed the one guy telling him that he’s real tough for pushing a girl. Mind you, he’s probably 5’6 and would trip over his own pants if he tried anything, but he still tries to fight through the crowd to get to me. People are silly. We hop on the train, drive home, night ends.
