Two Fridays ago we had some pretty killer weather. Around the time I was heading home from work we got an announcement over the intercom warning us of tornados in the area. I wanted to go home, it was 6pm on Friday, so that is what I did. After making a few turns on to the highway just outside, I came to a stoplight. I peered to my right and not a half mile away there was a tornado throwing stuff all around. It was awesome, and I now understand why people make a living out of chasing them. DAMN! WHAT POWER! There are a bunch of videos and pictures of the tornado floating around here at work, but most of them suck. This is the best I’ve found, and it still leaves a lot of detail out, seeing this thing does no justice to it. After viewing it, multiply what you saw by about 10x and then you get an idea of how cool this thing was. Also, you’ll need to use Quicktime to watch it.
