Chris got owned… Transcript follows:

Chris (9:17 AM): worst morning ever
Me (9:24 AM): whyyyy
Chris (9:25 AM): too much to type…. let’s just say the universe owned me this morning
Chris (9:33 AM): So I was leaving to go to my car and notice more tiles in the neighbor’s driveway. I was across the street to the top of someone else’s driveway to look at our roof and sure enough we’re missing tiles. Obviously there was nothing I could about it right then so I resigned myself to go to work. I was cutting across their lawn and stepped in a [hole] and rolled my ankle. Ended up falling on my face but managed to hobble to my car even though my ankle was killing me. I get in the car and Gateway is backed all the way up the hill. I decide to turn left on Sycolin to try and shortcut the problem and that’s bumper to bumper too. It takes me a half hour to get out of Leesburg so I decide I’ve earned some Starbucks in Ashburn because it’s been a rough week.
Chris (9:33 AM): I get there, get out of my car and walking up to Starbucks see that the line is out the door and it’s about 20 people deep. I decide not to wait but instead sit in the bumper to bumper traffic on Asburn Farm all the way to work. Finally get here an hour after I left the house and realize my badge and my passcode are in my coat at home. I have to pull aside at the gate while they take my information down. They give me a card to give to the receptionist so I can get a temporary badge.
Chris (9:34 AM): To get the badge I have to give them my license so now if I want to leave for lunch I have to turn in the badge and get my license back and do the whole thing again when I come back in. I get to my desk and I can’t check my email because I don’t have my passcode. I have to call security to bind my ID to a coworkers passcode and finally get in. This brings us up to the minute. I think I’m just going to hide under my desk for the rest of the day.
Chris (9:36 AM): metnion that my hour ride is 14 miles
