Went to McFadden’s for the night and towards the close of the evening I spotted a girl wearing a Bengals jersey. For those of you who suck, the Skins played the Bengals last night. I start talking/bickering to her about the game and then I notice that the name and number on her jersey is of a former Skins player and present Benagls player, offensive lineman Larry Moore. I ask her why she’s made such an odd choice of jersey and she points next to her at a decently sized black guy who is talking to some folks. She says that’s him. I say no way, begin talking to him, and I’m pretty convinced it is him, but not 100%. He turns out to be a very nice guy and later in the night he actually taps me and says “hey” in passing. What struck me as odd was he wasn’t that big. He was only about an inch taller than me (6’3) and didn’t seem too muscular. I try to convince my fellow Redskin-fan friends that he’s who he is, but they don’t believe me. Then I catch the giveaway… His shoes. Some straight blingin handcrafted looking leather thingamabobs that undoubtedly cost an arm and a leg. I’m sure he’s him now, and was able to verify the matching face when I got home. So either I chatted with an NFL player for a bit last night, or those folks were playing a grand hoax.

Oh yeah, no fight last night!
