As many of you already know, and some of you are likely finding out now (actually, that’s unlikely); I am addicted to video games. In the past two weeks I have bought three new ones, but alas I have found find to satiate my gaming appetite. Madden 2006 turned out to just be a roster update and some minor changes to make the already difficult passing system even harder; Jade Empire is too slow with action encompassing maybe 1/5 of the game’s time. Third time is the charm, though, and Dungeon Siege 2 is a blast.

The cool thing about the game is it can be described in less than ten words: Diablo 2 with better graphics and a new story. So there you have it. Basically an action game with RPG stats and a little story thrown in to make you feel as if you’re accomplishing something. The only downside thus far has been character creation; there aren’t many options at all, but I’ll get over it.
