This has been one of those movies that I have been meaning to get, but just haven’t gotten around to because it is fairly difficult to find, always pretty expensive, and there are a bajillion versions out! Why? I don’t know! Anyway, I finally settled on the International Uncut version for like 15 bones off Amazon.

Leon is awesome. Everything about him just screams awesome except for the fact a 12 year old Natalie Portman is in love with him. He should have given her a few more years, it would have been worth the investment. HOTTAY!

Ok, so Leon is an “cleaner” or a hitman/assassin. I love guys like that. If there really were guys like that in the real world I’d want to be one of them. I can’t think of anything cooler.

The movie was typical good guy versus bad guy stuff, nothing ground breaking. It was, however, more enjoyable than you’re average hitman flick. Why? I can’t quite pinpoint it. Maybe it was because it featured a savage Frenchman? You don’t find those every day. Anyway, good movie. If you’re not in to action films such as this then just rent it; I’m not sure it has much replay value.
