So I’ve got a little idea for a side project. I’m noting it here in case anyone else comes up with it in the meantime so I can prove I did in fact have the idea first… I’ve looked around and it doesn’t look like anyone else has done it, so here goes:

America is a diverse place. So diverse that I don’t think many of us can even fathom it without seeing it firsthand in our faces.

What I will do to make this possible is travel all over the place to snap pictures and jot down brief bios of people I meet on the street or wherever I might be. What I foresee is a gallery of mugshots w/ first names and ages in which you can click to learn what a person does, how they got there, where they were born, where they grew up, their likes and dislikes, etc. I could come up with a series of question to ask them…

Your thoughts? I’m pretty excited about this, it isn’t every day where I come up with something fun and exciting. Obviously I need to make sure this project hasn’t been done before (on the scale that I would like to do it) and I’d probably have to get a lawyer to write up some sort of waiver for the people to sign, but if you all think this is something I ought to give a shot I’ll go ahead and git’r done.
