Have you ever looked at a DC license plate and wonder why they didn’t put the entire quote on there? I have… Because they left the “no” out, they aren’t negating anything so it seems as if they’re advertising that our government sucks. I really don’t get it.

I don\’t feel our entire government sucks, but parts definitely do and the whole thing is far too inefficient. Far too many shmucks sit at a desk all day doing nothing but feeding off of our tax dollars. The president sucks… The electoral college sucks, but that isn\’t really a physical object, just an idea that needs to be changed. Extremists (from both the left and the right, but primarily the right) suck.
I need to move to Canada, but it is too cold. Mexico has great weather, but it is Mexico. Hrm… US Virgin Islands? All the benefits of being part of the US, but none of the downsides.

I think you’re missing the general idea of the motto. Specifically DC residents are taxed but do not have representation that states have in in the Senate, etc. In that sense they’re saying the federal government sucks, but it’s not a catch-all that all government sucks in general.

Watching super troopers does not infer I wasn\\\’t doing work at the same time. I am paid by private investor dollars anyway, not tax dollars.

Don’t mistake my posts as condoning our bloated, over-spending government. I vote Libertarian so you know I’m against large government and taxation but we’re all pretty much guilty of getitng paid to sit on our asses.
