Months ago I reported that I was on the No Fly List due to my name being too generic. At first it was a novel thing, something to joke about, but it really has gotten to be too much. While others can check in at those little computer terminals, I have to wait in line for an attendant who has to make a five minute call to whoever handles these lists. If I was in a rush, I wouldn’t have nearly the chance of making my plane as someone who isn’t on the list. If they are going to go through the trouble of making this list the least they could do is employ someone to check out individuals who are checked often (me). They would find I was born in the US, have lived in the same house for the past 20 years, have never left the country aside from Mexico and the Carribbean, I have perfect credit, I have a good job, I’ve never been arrested, and I party hard.. Erm, yeah.

More of a reason for me to dislike Bush and his silly Patriot Act / Homeland Security bullshit. If someone wanted to cause a ruckus, they would find ways around or through these thin walls we have put in place.
