And visit this guy’s page, you’ll see this… I am a Firefox user simply because I love tabbed browsing. I don’t particularly think IE is a bad browser or any more flawed than any of the others, but instead it just makes more sense for an exploiter to be mailicious with because a) it has a market share and b) saavy computer users, the ones who don’t get viruses, tend to use these other options, which means that market share is made up of noobs.
It is all very much the same as people saying Windows is such a security risk. As a matter of fact, I remember reading that Linux has more flaws per line of code than Windows does. The reason people consider Windows so flawed? Because so many people use it and therefore so many people write exploits for it!
If we became a Linux-based computing society all hell would break loose. Not only are there severe flaws in it, but the source-code is readily available! Do you know how easy it is to exploit something when you know exactly how it works?
