As always, mine was full of things to do.

Friday night I worked on the Civic to get her in running shape as Matt’s truck was out of commission so she’d be relied on to tote all our crap down to Frerdericksburg. She ran great already, but still had R-comp tires and track-only brake pads on her. An hour later, she was ready to roll with expired registration, and a lack of a muffler. Didn’t help that driving home was extra illegal becuase I didn’t have my glasses.

Saturday morning I was up at the buttcrack of dawn, drove to Chris’ Mom’s in Burke, and then down to the outfitters. The day was pretty uneventful aside from destroying all the old folks in a beer drinking contest, and losing my glasses on a rope swing. I guess it was cool to see duck and cows have sex in the same day.

Sunday was more canoeing on the really slow river. I’m certain we exerted far more energy compared to last year thanks to the lack of rain recently. Got home, showered, and went out to my friend’s party in Arlington. Burgers, dogs, beer bonging my share in flip cup. A blast as always.

Monday was time to recover. I really didn’t do a damn thing other than some laundry and visiting the rents for a little family BBQ. I also got to ride Gerald’s motorcycle a bit; I have to have one now.

Click for Canoe Trip!

Click for Party!
