Put simply, this movie was not as good as I expected. The special effect were awesome, and Davy Jones was a really cool dude, but I had two major problems:<br/><br/>1) If you had not seen the first, you would have been really lost. They had 0 background information on the characters. A “fresh” viewer would have been left wondering what the hell was happening.<br/><br/>2) There was no real closure. They left it too open for a sequel, which there will most definitely be. However, I like to be left wondering. If you have more to tell, make the movie longer, but at 2.5 hours this was already pushing it.<br/><br/>As always, Johnny Depp did very well, and Keira Knightley was super-money-bags.<br/><br/>[b]7.0/10[/b] – did not feel finished
