Went to see Guster after work yesterday. They were opened by Rogue Wave, who had a good singer, but very forgettable music. Next up was Ray LaMontagne, who also had a very cool voice and some good music to go along with it; I’ll probably pick up an album from him on Amazon or something. Then up? Guster. They did a very good job, but I can’t get over how their music has taken a turn for the worse. I was in love with the band in my college days, but over the past 4 years or so, their songwriting has really gone downhill. Luckily, they played a few older songs so I was left happy.
