I’m going to use the above training plan to complete a half marathon by the end of the year. Based on the schedule, that looks like I’ll need to run one on November 5th. I haven’t checked running calendars yet, but I may be forced to fly somewhere to get this done, but whatever. <br/><br/>Actually… Crap! I forgot abut my two weeks in Japan! I don’t know if I’ll be able to run there! Anyone been? Know if I’ll be able to or not? Crap! Crap! It also says I should run a 10k race while I’m in Japan. :tongue: Ok, so I haven’t planned this out too well, but I’ still pretty sure I can do it.<br/><br/>Maybe I’ll tweak the schedule a bit and go for a 10-miler? Funny, in my quick search of one I checked out <a href=”http://www.armytenmiler.com/” target=”_blank”>the Army 10-miler</a> and a girl I ran with in high school (at Oakton) was on the front page. She won it last year :smiley: Maybe I’ll just train through since I’ll likely not get all my mileage in in Japan and do the Gar Williams Half Marathon in Belle Haven, MD on December 2nd?
