I’m hip, I’m young, I am intelligent, I’m perverse when I want to be, but I simply cannot decipher this “London Bridge” metaphor. Can someone help me? I’ve thought about it for days and I just don’t get it. Maybe the metaphor is just deeper than I’m capable of thinking? I doubt it, this is a singer from Black Eyed Peas, not Sir Elton or anyone with an IQ above 100. Maybe this is the first sign that I’m getting old? Mom, Dad, did you ever not understand any of the music I listened to?
