I regularly use Amazon’s “Recommendations” to drive my purchasing of movies and books. Today I log on and see that it seems to have updated my list; I guess they saw I wasn’t interested in certain things that were on there for a while so they put me through some different algorithm? Anyway, so I’m scrolling, scrolling and I come to Brokeback Mountain at position #42. How should I take this? That I’m cultured and interested in genuinely good movies or… the other way?<br/><br/>Hrmph…
