I finally got my day off. Was scheduled for Friday, but we had some release woes so I had to go in. Unfortunately, I already had plans to sleep at the ‘rents and then was going to shoot home in the AM to work on cars. So yeah, I had to go through an entire day at work without deodorant and wearing the same exact clothes as the day before.

OK, so today. I wake up around 7am to Caitlin’s plea for help. Her big project was due today and she was too tired to color in the lines. I go over there to find I’m too inept to color in the lines. Disaster! I run to Kinkos for her and my tasks are complete there. Head home, back to bed.

Wake up around 10am, hop in car and it’s on! Alexandria to pick up gift card from Caitlin’s birthday at Sugar House. Fire back towards Arlington, pick up Christmas presents (now done with everyone but Andy), hit Sears for my 23mm wrench that I’ve been needing to change my differential fluid and also pick up a 17mm socket I’m missing and an awesome Stanley screwdriver looking bottle opener! Sweet! Off to Advance to browse for some things I need, but no luck. Over to Honda for two emblems, touch-up paint (made a booboo in the S2000 yesterday), and a lug nut (I was missing one for some reason).

Back home, I change the tranny fluid in the Civic, wash all the windows, swap out the Idle Air Control Valve to solve the cold idle fluctuation I’ve been having ever since I got the car in 200(2 or 3), replace a rotted PCV breather hose, and take her for a spin! Good times! Silly guy in an early 90s Camaro thought he might have a chance in the twisties… Holla!

I sit here now, halfway in to the shower. Just ate an apple and downed some grapefruit juice. Lights dim, listening to some Damien Rice while I browse audiobooks I can illegally download (they are a rip retail!!). Life is good.

Update: I ended the night by dusting my room, refilling my toner, playing some video games, and eating a burrito. :thumbup:
