Arrived at American, got a few compliments/gawks at my car (college guys love it), and parked at the top of the deck. Walked in to the gym, found a nice spot behind some short folks on the floor, and were set.

Unfortunately we got there twenty minutes late and missed the Silversun Pickups, which is a shame because I’ve been listening to them a lot recently. Oh well, we had no idea they were opening.

OK Go was on next and I was quite surprised. I knew of their music videos floating around the internet and mistakingly passed them off as one-hit-wonders. Their show was quite good; the guys had a ton of energy… They reminded me of high school bands rocking out at the Old Firehouse way back in the day… They had a real immature energy to them, which was really refreshing.

Next up, Snow Patrol! One of very few bands I can say I know most of the words of… They put on a great concert as well. If you know or like their music, you would have had a really good time at the show.

Next concert? It’s looking like The Fray in June. I’ll likely hit a couple of shows at Wolf Trap again, but their schedule is pretty much unchanged from last year and I saw everybody I wanted to see then.
