Well, technically it began yesterday, but Hal Higdon’s Half-Marathon training program has the first run scheduled today! Being the slacker that I am, I was going to go with the novice program, which starting out isn’t much different than the running I’ve been doing, but Caitlin was quick to poopoo that idea so we’ll both be doing the intermediate.
Wish me luck! Really all I need luck with is my body. Based on the running I’ve done over the past year, I think my shins are just trashed and I won’t be able to keep up the mileage. Oh well, I guess we’ll see!
