That’s right boys and ghouls, Michael is alive and well at Group Logic. My commute has been reduced from 35-60 minutes to 5-10. Not bad, eh?
I’m working on the ExtremeZ-IP software, which is basically a component that allows larger groups of people (corporations, schools, whatever) to have their Mac systems interface with PC filesystems in a happy, efficient, and error-free way. As such, I have a lot to learn about Macs, filesystems, and I plan on doing a lot of automation and scripting work.
The digs are a bit dated as are the desks and chairs, but the plan is to move offices in Q4. On the bright side, I get to work on a Macbook Pro, the people here are incredibly intelligent, the management doesn’t flip-flop every year, and I’ve already learned a ton and can use a Mac pretty proficiently already.
