I am addicted to the internet. Specifically, Honda-Tech and Madison Motorsports. I thought the addiction would cease with my new job. It did, but it’s back… I actually contemplated seeing my IT administrator to have him block those sites at the firewall… Rather than having to share my addiction with any coworkers, I did a quick search and found the perfect article on another site I frequent (not nearly as much of a time waster).

So now I have both sites blocked from 9AM until 4PM. My logic there is that if I get in to work early enough, I’ll have a few minutes to catch the latest news and then, as the day carries on and my mind is about to explode from work, I’ll be able to get what I need once again.

Did a little more research and found an easier to use and more robust extension (instead of a Greasemonkey script) called LeechBlock. I now have six sites blocked from 9:15AM until 4:30PM. Productivity will soar!
