As some of you have surely noted, I have implemented a new policy regarding comments. Andy, Chris, if your comment is merely to aggravate, it will be deleted. If you have a genuine comment, feel free to post it. Semantic games and posts intended entirely to “poke” are a waste of time, bandwidth, and they discourage others from posting.<br/><br/>Example: I make a post about kickball, you go on and on about how I erroneously (in your opinion) made an analogy to Barry Sanders.<br/><br/>Example #2: I make a post about an iPod Shuffle, note something that bothers me regarding it, you say my concern is a joke when a) you don’t have an iPod Shuffle, b) you don’t run c) you don’t use an iPod Shuffle when running.<br/><br/>If this bothers you and has you saying “You’re lame, I’m not reading your site any longer,” don’t let the door hit you on the way out.<br/>

Please address the following if you will…
1) How is saying “red is a girly color” not intended entirely to “poke”?
2) Why does social commentary about how 1gb isn’t big enough (and yes, that’s how it was intended) related to calling your concern a joke? I don’t need to own a nano or run to know we’ve becomed spoiled when 200+ songs isn’t enough.
3) Does everyone have to have direct experience with your specific situation to be able to comment? That seems to be your reasoning for #2. I haven’t won a kickball championship or had citrus glazed Mahi Mahi, does that mean I can’t comment?
It would seem that you object more to contrary opinion than anything.

1. That poster doesn\’t have a history of poking.
2. I have reworded my space issue. It isn\’t that 200 songs isn\’t enough, it\’s that I don\’t know the songs I like on each album, I just know I like certain albums. Therefore, I just dumped a bunch of albums on it, and it left me with not much variety. When you have more space than this AND an easy way to figure out what you\’re playing, having crap songs now and then isn\’t a very big deal.

I think Mike is on crack sometimes and is “wrong”…but I also think that it is his “blog” and he can say what he wants. If someone wants to voice their opinion (more than once in awhile), they should get their own site. (Yes, I know some of you have your own site already).

You should change your domain to MikeyRules.org… it would describe things a lot better.
ORGs are on sale for $7/year at Go Daddy… if nothing else you should buy it an redirect that domain here.
Crap… was that intended entirely to poke? I offered valuable information on something I have experience with, buying domains, so it counts, right?
