As Chris pointed out me griping about only having 1gb of storage on my music device that is the size of a quarter, I realized I have taken technology for granted. I just took a moment to think about it and concluded that what I’m doing right now is just plain silly:<br/><br/>I am sitting here at home, using my <a href=”http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/” target=”_blank”>MacBook Pro</a> running <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_v10.4″ target=”_blank”>Tiger</a>, <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11″ target=”_blank”>connected wirelessly to the internet via a router upstairs</a>, <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Private_Network” target=”_blank”>tunneled in to my corporate network</a>, <a href=”http://www.pandora.com/” target=”_self”>listening to online radio</a>, <a href=”http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/” target=”_blank”>remotely controlling another Mac at the office</a> running <a href=”http://www.apple.com/macosx/” target=”_blank”>Leopard</a>, which is talking to a <a href=”http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/” target=”_blank”>virtual PC</a> running <a href=”http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsxp/default.mspx” target=”_blank”>Windows XP</a> on my local laptop, which is running <a href=”http://www.grouplogic.com/products/extreme/overview.cfm” target=”_self”>software to emulate Macintosh file sharing</a>.<br/><br/>So convoluted, so much deception, but it works all so flawlessly. Cool.<br/>
