Last night, I had someone come pick up my old mattress that I had listed for free on Craigslist. This is the second time I’d listed it; breath of fresh air to not have to deal with flakers. Can you believe someone actually had the nerve to suggest I deliver? Argh. Anyway, the claimer spurred this post.

He pulls up, we grab the mattress from inside, take it to his car, and then he tells me “My fiance is really excited when she found out she was getting this from you. Apparently she reads your blog.” My response? “Are you serious? I didn’t think anyone did.” He went on to say that her and maybe a few of her friends visit now and again. Honestly, I didn’t think anyone did.

Soooo…. if you’re not Mom, Dad, Jess, Andy, Chris, Jeff, BJ or Caitlin… Who are you? Why are you here? How did you get here? Where are you from?

I took a look at my stats and found some interesting things:

I receive ~150 unique visitors per day

Most visitors come via my signature on various message boards

Following my trip to Japan, things were crazy with ~350 uniques per day, but they’ve seemingly settled back down

20% of views are via Mac; abnormally high considering Apple only has an 8% market share

The country breakdown in my stats log has broken… This saddens me

People coming from search engines find me via “iammike,” “foot fungus,” and “suzuki gsx-r”

Most visits are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, when people are dying of boredom at work

My counter at the bottom of the page has gone haywire. It should read around 70,000 since February of ’05. I really wish I had kept track in the early days…
