I’m slowly beginning to lose faith in movie reviewers and people all over the world. Not only has Colbert’s book received great reviews, but so has this movie, starring Daniel Day-Lewis. Heck, it’s even been nominated for 8 Oscars!

As you might have gathered by this point, I was not impressed with the film. I’m not entirely sure what I didn’t really care for, but the film felt empty… A guy simply goes insane and starts doing weird shit. What’s special about that? Maybe it was the waiting, waiting, and waiting I did for some big plot twist, which never came? Instead the movie just ends abruptly… I was with three others and they all agreed…

To top it off, I think I got sick off of movie theater popcorn after waiting ten minutes in line for it and had to burn a PTO day the following day due to it.
