Just got home (err back to work) from seeing this show. I had never seen <a href=”http://www.howieday.com/” target=”_blank”>Howie</a> in concert so this proved to be a good evening.<br/><br/><div style=”text-align: center;”><img align=”none” alt=”” border=”1″ src=”http://www.iammike.org/cutenews/data/upimages/howieday.jpg”/><br/></div><div style=”text-align: center;”><br/></div>Arrived at <a href=”http://www.iotaclubandcafe.com/” target=”_blank”>IOTA</a>
around 6:15, bought my “ticket,” grabbed a bite at the cafe, and then
ventured over to the club portion. Over the course of thenight I also
happened to run in to three faces. One from racing and two from high
school.<br/><br/>The show was a bit surprising; he uses a ton of
electronic looping and reverb. At times, it was more of an electronic
show… weird. At first the insane amount of reverb felt a bit
gimmicky, but then as he got in to some of the songs that were more
electronic, I came to realize that he truly was talented at this stuff;
he was more than I knew. I had never actually seen pictures of him so
the image in my mind was a guy in his mid-30s that was like the
ultimate acoustic talent… not so. <br/><br/><br/>Overall, a good time and well worth the $15 to be 10 feet away from a star giving a solo show. AND they have Blue Moon on tap <img src=”http://www.iammike.org/cutenews/data/emoticons/tongue.gif”/><br/>
