Saw an asian guy in an F150 with such a plate today. Caused me to wonder if vietnamese soldiers (read: the enemy) were qualified for the plates. It seems that they should be… But then the US medal for the war is displayed on their cars… and that is kind of weird.<br/><br/><center><img src=”http://www.dmvnow.com/images/plates/vietvet2.gif”/><br/><br/><div style=”text-align: left;”>Hrmph. I guess the same would go for WWII vets and a couple of other plates that are offered. Truly, hrmph.<br/>

I think the South Vietnamese fought along with us, against the North Vietnamese. Or they at least took over the fighting as we started pulling out. Not sure, but I think that is it. Plus we had Vietnamese in this country that were allowed to join our military.
