After months and months of trying to see this, but the plans falling through for whatever reason, we saw it at home.

The movie was very entertaining… I absolutely loved the character played by Javier Bardem. He was a crazed lunatic, but you have to respect that he actually had values in his lunacy. If you’re going to die, you’re going to die for a reason… And it’s going to be ugly.

I enjoyed the plot too despite it having a really odd/bad ending. It was as if the Coen brothers were going for something really clever, but you either had to be operating on another level, or you had to look up the meaning on the internet. I dunno, maybe I was having a slow night.

Anyway, quality film, but not best motion picture of the year caliber… It must have been a slow year.

I’ve also decided to change my rating system to letters. I realized that even if something was bad, It was still getting a 50 or so. 0-49 was completely unused, but a 50 is a failure… Enjoy.
