Rather than have to visit their site every time I want to search for something, why don’t they set up something that notifies me when a certain keyword I have subscribed to is hit/posted?<br/><br/>This couldn’t take a developer more than a day or two to put together from start to finish, and it’d save me numerous visits to their site. What gives?<br/><br/>If anyone feels like searching for me, the searches I run on an almost daily basis are the following:<br/><ul type=”square”><li>”Blazing Star MVS”</li><li>”Shock Troopers MVS”</li><li>”Drift Out MVS”</li><li>”Ultimate 11 MVS”</li></ul>Thanks for your help <img src=”http://www.iammike.org/cutenews/data/emoticons/tongue.gif”/><br/>

I haven’t looked into it that much but I’m pretty sure Netvibes has a module that does this.

So you’ve added my items in? Thanks. I’m not going back to NetVibes. I was a Google user, went to NetVibes for six months, and came back to Google… I’ll look in to what Google has.

Yes, you can be alerted on eBay when new items are posted. I have several search terms in there such as my dinnerware, which is usually hard to find, and it sends me an email with links to one or more new postings and photos. I’ll get you the info on how to get on the alert system. I think you can have it alert to you about 10 different items, just as you can also get alerts from your favorite sellers when they post something new.

I added a “gadget” to my Google Homepage. It fits the bill pretty nicely.
