Meisha recommended this one and it finally came up in my queue. I didn’t know what to expect from a movie that is categorized as a comedy and is about the Bosnian War, but he claimed it was a great so I trusted him.

Unlike the time he didn’t show for kickball, Meisha did not let me down; this was a very, very good film. In one small trench, the entire war is summarized… It is the summary of the war that makes it so comical; nobody really knows why they were fighting, who started it, what they were trying to accomplish, and finally the worthlessness of the UN in the whole conflict. To summarize, it was a brutally honest film, with good bits of humor thrown in to keep it light. Brilliant job by the writer and director.
