After less than a year of use, my iPod Shuffle has bit the bullet. I’m not too surprised, as I do put it through a lot of abuse on my training runs, but still, shouldn’t an electronic device make it a year before crapping out unless it has been submerged or something? Since I feel running is a perfectly valid use of the item, I’ve scheduled a date at the Genius Bar. Hopefully I’ll get a free replacement… If not, I’ll buy another one and look in to better ways to protect it. Don’t say buy another product; I’d rather shell out $50 to Apple for a superior product every year than shell out $100+ for something that sucks.
