Arctic sea ice shrinks to 2nd-lowest on record. Sadly, I’m sure 90% of Americans read it and say “Oh, that sucks” and they go about their normal lives, living in fear that the world is ending (in reality, it’s just our economy).

Hopefully you found that it actually grew from 1.59 to 1.74 million square miles in the last year! That’s a very, very significant improvement, yet they try to twist it in to a sign of the apocalypse.

I’m all for living “green,” reducing, reusing, recycling, biking rather than driving, and all the other things that make me feel like I’m doing good for the planet, but ladies and gentlemen, we’ve reached a new low with this stuff (no, I don’t mean our temperature).

I’m slowly beginning to think it’s all hype to just make someone new a few bucks. Heck, not too long ago, people were up in arms over global cooling! Looks at some of the words in there… “dramatically,” “drastically,” “OMINOUS.”

I hate the media.
