This week marks the beginning of a new training plan (Cherry Blossom 10-Miler is the immediate goal [in 1:07:30]) and JPN102 beginning. Free time? Goodbye.

Tuesdays and Thursdays my schedule has me getting my run in going to work, arriving at 10am, showering there, working until 7pm, heading to class until 10pm, home by 10:30. Wednesdays aren’t so bad, but I bike to work, arrive at 10am, work until 6:30pm, head to the track, run until 8pm, then home. Mondays and Fridays will be 9-5 w/ some swimming and biking.

I’ll post up my training schedule tomorrow. It doesn’t have quite the same miles as my marathon plan, but it is all done at a much faster pace. Afterward, I’ll use the base of miles (I’ll be at ~35/wk) to do a quick 4-week plan for the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon (sub-1:30 goal), and then I’ll be all set to make another push for whichever marathon I end up shooting for (Twin Cities is the current favorite) over the summer. I’ll also be fitting the Parks Half Marathon in there (sub-1:30 goal if I haven’t already done it) and maybe another bike race somewhere (really want to do 24 Hours of Big Bear. At the end of the year, if I fail again at qualifying for Boston in 2010, I’ll likely head out to California for what’s dubbed “the easiest BQ marathon.”

If I reject an invite because I’m too busy and need to get things done around the house, you now know why. Don’t take it personally.
