I feel a bit stupid for my last game recap in which I called the Giants the defending Super Bowl champs. I don’t know what got into me… Maybe the fact they signed Eli to such a ridiculous amount clouded my mind?

Anyway, Week 2 looked like it’d be an easy one after a great first week and the Rams being the Rams. To top it off, Marc Bulger was injured. Kyle Boller? Bring it.

As expected, their offense did nothing.

Unfortunately, the same went for us. Their defense shut us down. Nobody did anything wrong, but we felt like the real Redskins; just never got rolling.

This game was really won by my defense. Rocky McIntosh continued a great season with two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown (yes, my offense only scored 13). In doing so, he pulled league defensive player of the week.

Given this game, I have to think my difficulty setting is fair; this was a realistic score. 20-9.

Redskins 2-0.

Week 3 has been played for awhile and I hope to write it up tomorrow. In the meantime, I’ve gotta get to Week 4.
