The Lions… looks like another easy one. Especially since Matt Stafford is out for the season. I like the guy, but apparently he went down in the preseason. That stinks.

We’ll start this one with another play #1 pick, this time by Carlos Rogers. I like when games start like this.

Somehow, by the end of the 1st, I was up by 21. Hey, it’s the Lions.

Offensively, they looked pretty good, but struggled to put any points on the board.

Later in the game, Santana Moss returned a kick for 98 yards. I get scared every time I see him back there returning; I don’t want to lose him to injury so I might move someone else to return man.

By the end of the 3rd, the game was over so I brought in the bench. Colt Brennan not only threw his first interception, but also his first touchdown. Overall, he didn’t look bad, but he didn’t get many looks as I was just pounding the ball to kill the clock.

My rushing attack was pretty strong; Portis ran 22 times for 99 yards, and Betts 17 times for 109.

My passing game was more of the usual. Weak, but no mistakes. If a game weren’t a blowout, perhaps I’d throw for more than the 170ypg I’m averaging.

Redskins win, 42-7. I’m still not sure on the difficulty since I’ve been playing scrub teams. One more game, and if I dominate, I’ll bump it up.

3-0.
