I’m all about commas. So much so that I think I overuse them from time to time. There are some schools of thought saying it’s really impossible to overuse them, but I still have a nagging now and then.

One of the most common times I’m left pondering the usage of a comma is when I’m ending a sentence with “either.”

So I Googled…

The best line? “There is a lot of freedom” [when using commas]. Good, great, grand… It’s a very personal thing. If you feel there would be a pause when you’re speaking the sentence, you can put a comma.

I’ll be verbalizing a lot more of my blogging/e-mails/texting now. Fear not, I’m not going crazy, just figuring out where to put my commas
