<p><img alt=”” class=”floatRight” height=”150″ src=”http://www.iammike.org/images/in-posts/250px-Maus.jpeg” width=”108″/>Waiting for a meaty book to arrive from Amazon, I found myself at the library doing some browsing for items short and sweet. I hopped onto Goodreads, waded through my “to read” list, and came to this title. I have no idea when or how it got to my list as I hadn’t recalled ever hearing of it, but I had to have put it there for some reason. A quick search on the online catalog, a journey down some aisles, and it was in my hands. A graphic novel? I don’t do those. I’ve always assumed they were comics, more or less, which I have never been able to get into. I grabbed it anyway, checked out, and got to finishing it in two days. It was an excellent read.</p>
<p>Yes, they’re mice. The Germans are cats. The Polish are pigs. Mauschwitz is a place. Cute and clever.</p>
