We made it! This little one is a true bundle of joy. So happy, sleeps well (8ish hours, wake to eat, and then another couple), eats well. We really lucked out. This month she began to love dancing and being swung about, laughs constantly, really figured out her hands, graduated to a crib, and is exceeding expectations on all the milestone stuff.
We spent a week out at the coast in Washington for a change of scenery. Dad worked and the space was small so we were tripping over one another, but it was great to get away, see something different, and the bakery every morning was quite a treat. There was absolutely no reaction from Mia when she touched the freezing cold ocean… not sure if we should be concerned? It hurt Dad’s feet. Anyway, we aim to do some sort of trip at least once a month until we’re out of lockdown. Good for the mind.
This coming month Mom returns to work and we begin a nanny share with some friends. This month’s getaway may *gasp* take advantage of finally having help and be without Mia!? I doubt we’ll do that, but it’s crazy to think it’s possible.
