This month Mia became an expert at rolling back to tummy, but only to the left. Odd, because she originally did everything better to her right. The problem with rolling only one way meant a handful of nights where she’d do it numerous times, get stuck, get mad, and Mom and Dad got no sleep.

The biggest event of the month was Mom going back to work. We began a nanny share and that’s going well, but the adjustment hasn’t been seamless. We were very fortunate to have been able to have Rebecca out of work for so long, but it still felt too short; shame on our country. Being at home all day with the nanny is also probably a COVID bonus, but does make work focus a challenge.

Other fun things this month were being cooped up for an entire week when the air outside was toxic, putting gates up all over the place (nanny share friend is very mobile), and REAL FOOD! Mom has been making pureed apple, green beans, prunes, and whole banana and avocado! She doesn’t make it clear if she loves real food, but she certainly doesn’t hate it.

Unfortunately, with most of the state on fire this month, we didn’t do anything fun outside the house other than a lot of long walks.
