There be teeth! Two sharp little (well, not so little) ones on the bottom. No sign of any others.

We spent a nice bit of this month at a friend’s place (they were out of town) in Bend for the holidays. Lots of good hikes, a beautiful house, seeing some friends we hadn’t seen all year, Mia met her first family members (Rebecca’s cousins and their kids) and celebrating her first Christmas (she liked the tree and wrapping paper, but pretty sure she didn’t get it since she receives new shit near constantly). She even got to see her first snow and really liked me throwing snowballs at the (our) [parked] car window.

We’re getting closer to crawling on her hands, but she’s resistant despite our best efforts. One nice development has been her ability to self entertain. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s now possible for us to both have our eyes off her for moments at a time… it’s the little things.

She’s also now eaten liver, goat cheese, and pretty much any vegetable or legume you can think of. She loves any sort of paste spread on a cracker and has a strong dislike for broccoli.

Hats still all fall down her face (see photo) and she also peed on my peeing area getting into the tub this month. It was extra uncomfortable because it felt like I peed myself, but even more-so because I had stuff to do for 20 minutes before I was able to change, during which time it got really cold. I suspect there are more situations like this to come.
