October 17, 2019 was the date.

We, along with around a dozen family members descended upon Tumalo Lake Lodge (amazing – do stay there) for a three day celebration that couldn’t have gone much better.

On Thursday, we married just before 4pm on a dock by the lake. It was a very informal ceremony that we had to literally run to make as the skies only cleared (we went to Bend for the reduced risk of weather, but ended up receiving ~5″ of snow total) for only 15 minutes. Aside from forgetting my boutonniere (she immediately noticed), it went splendidly. As the frigid cold crept in immediately following the formalities, we all ran back to our cabins to change into something comfy and enjoyed a live cellist and a meal prepared by a private chef as well as some of the finer stock of my wine collection.

On Friday, we did some hikes and runs and my father hosted a long-table farm dinner on the porch of Rainshadow Organics for family and our friends who had traveled from the east. The food was amazing; we can’t wait to go back.
On Saturday, more hikes and runs, more inclement weather, and Rebecca’s mother hosted a reception at Worthy Brewing. A great night of food, drink, and dancing was had.

Shoutouts to our other vendors who all rocked: Ida’s Cupcakes, Donner Flower Shop, and Red Owl Photography.
And a huge thanks to everyone who was able to share this experience with us. ❤️
